Dr. Carmen Aguayo, ND

Naturopathic Doctor

I’m a naturopathic doctor with a special interest in women’s health, hormonal balance, and metabolic health. I completed my Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto after earning my Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Science from the University of Guelph. My passion for nutrition as medicine began early in my studies and continues to be at the heart of my practice today.

I’m particularly interested in the connection between metabolic health and menstrual health, and how factors like blood sugar balance, insulin resistance, and inflammation can influence hormones, cycles, and overall well-being. In my clinical practice, I focus on supporting my patients through conditions including PCOS, metabolic syndrome, PMS, PMDD, irregular periods, and endometriosis. During my training, I gained clinical experience in fertility, reproductive health, and menopause, which deepened my understanding of the complex relationship between hormones, inflammation, and metabolic health. I combine evidence-based medicine with a naturally focused approach, using nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted supplements to help patients feel their best.

Connection is at the core of my work, I take the time to truly understand each patient’s story and provide compassionate, personalized care. My goal is to empower you to take charge of your health and see how that translates to a more enriched life.

Outside of the clinic, I love traveling, thrifting, and spending time with my friends, family, and rescue pup, Rico. I believe in living life fully, and I’m passionate about helping my patients do the same.
