Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
Brittany Church is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Queen's University. Since graduating, she has taken advanced courses in orthopaedic manual therapy, acupuncture, and pelvic floor physiotherapy.
Brittany’s passion for pelvic health grew after learning of the high prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction and the significant impact it has on a person’s quality of life. She is continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in pelvic floor physiotherapy for the treatment of incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum care. She has completed all three levels of basic training, and additional advanced courses in pregnancy, pelvic girdle pain, diastasis rectus abdominis (DRA), low back pain, the female athlete, bowel dysfunction, and caesarean birth preparation and recovery. Brittany has over 6 years of experience treating pelvic floor and orthopaedic conditions, with many years of mentorship by Cindy Auchincloss.
Before becoming a Physiotherapist, Brittany worked as a personal trainer and has always strived to promote healthy living through movement. She is passionate about empowering people to restore their pelvic health and achieve their goals through physiotherapy. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, cross-country skiing,
canoeing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
