Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
Brittany Church is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Queen's University. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Women's Health Division. Since graduating from Queen's in 2015, she continues to advance her knowledge and skills in orthopaedic manual therapy and contemporary medical acupuncture.
She discovered her interest in pelvic health after taking her first course in January 2016. After gaining awareness of the high prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction and the profound affect it can have on one's quality of life, she was eager to learn more. Since then, she continues to expand her skills in pelvic floor physiotherapy for the treatment of incontinence, pelvic pain, prenatal and postpartum care. In addition, she has been mentoring with Cindy Auchincloss since June 2018 when she joined Kingston Pelvic Health.
Before becoming a Physiotherapist, Brittany worked as a personal trainer and bootcamp coach and has always strived to promote healthy living through movement. She is passionate about empowering people to restore their pelvic health and achieve their goals through physiotherapy. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, canoeing, camping, and spending time with her family, friends, and german shepherd-husky dog.
